We grew up eating this seasonal treat during the holidays. But these Nuremberg-style lebkuchen—a special, premium variety known as Elisenlebkuchen—may just be one of the very best we’ve ever tasted. Baked by hand in small batches, these sweet treats are delicately spiced and stuffed with nuts, and candied citron and orange peel. However Leckerlee does not use any artificial preservatives in their products, so we recommend that you eat the lebkuchen within a few weeks for optimal taste and texture.
